Just before the end of 2025, sixteen Marom leaders from across the globe gathered in Israel for the Global Marom Leadership Seminar. Participants arrived from eleven countries: Chile, Brazil, France, Germany, England, Mexico, Argentina, Uganda, Uruguay, Finland, and Ukraine, bringing with them diverse cultures, lived realities, and a shared commitment to Marom’s values and vision.
Over five intensive and deeply meaningful days, we experienced the Marom community at its very best: uplifting, thoughtful, and profoundly connected. We learned and prayed together, engaged in honest and open dialogue, and reflected collectively on the future of Global Marom. At the same time, each participant explored what Marom looks like in their own local context, the challenges they face, the communities they serve, and the opportunities for growth and impact in their regions.
Through encounters in Jerusalem and Arad, alongside a powerful and emotional day in the Gaza Envelope, the seminar offered a lived and nuanced exploration of Israel in 2025. For many participants, this was their first visit to the region since October 7, making the experience especially significant.
Our work together also focused on Jewish peoplehood and the principle of mutual responsibility, strengthening the bonds between Jewish communities in Israel and across the Diaspora. A significant part of the seminar was dedicated to collaborative thinking and shared building: developing content, frameworks, and visions for Marom branches in different regions, while learning from one another’s experiences and perspectives.
We concluded the seminar with a strong sense of connection and purpose, empowered by community, enriched by shared learning, and committed to shaping Marom’s future together. What began as a global gathering became a meaningful and lasting community, one that will continue to strengthen Marom’s work and leadership in the years ahead.
