EDUCATORS ONLY!

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This immersive study trip invites educators to explore one of the most under-taught chapters of Holocaust history: the Holocaust by bullets—the mass shootings of Jews carried out across Eastern Europe between 1941 and 1944. Led by Yahad–In–Unum researchers and educators, participants will investigate Holocaust sites using Yahad’s unique methodology, combining archival sources, eyewitness testimonies, landscape analysis, and on-site investigation. The program integrates historical scholarship with field-based learning, offering teachers tools they can bring directly into their classrooms.

NOT A TRADITIONAL HOLOCAUST HISTORY TOUR

This program does not follow a standard Holocaust travel itinerary. While participants will visit key historical locations, the focus is on sites of mass shootings, unmarked killing sites and lesser-known locations rarely included in Holocaust education travel programs. These are the places where entire Jewish and Roma communities were murdered outside of camps—and where much of this history remains undocumented or unKnown.
